Detailed Itinerary:

The ceremonies of AYAHAUASCA are carried out at night, in the sacred valley starting at 19:00pm to have a better answer of the effects of the Medicinal Teacher Plant.

Effects of Ayahuasca

Luego de unos 30 minutos después de haber ingerido la medicina, el participante tendrá una percepción diferente en su cuerpo y se sentirá algo desorientado, como algo similar al efecto del alcohol.
Posibles vómitos o expulsión de la bebida ingerida pueden ocurrir, pero sin ninguna clase de mal olor del vómito, ya que sólo se expulsa lo que se tomó.
Posibles diarreas pueden servir como purga para el organismo o simplemente es posible que el participante no sienta ninguna de estas sensaciones y esto dependerá mucho de su estado físico y emocional, así como de si el/ella siguió correctamente las indicaciones dadas por el Chaman y la agencia.
Luego, el participante entra en un transe y empieza a tener visiones, explorando su vida, en una interrelación con el Cosmos y el Universo y muchas veces, se establece un contacto con la "Pacha Mama" o Madre Tierra. Pero, con respecto a las visiones que uno puede tener, no es una constancia en todas las personas y esto depende muchas veces del estado general de salud del participante, así como de su ánimo físico, mental y emocional. Los efectos de la planta duran aproximadamente unas 3 horas y media, dependiendo de las condiciones generales de cada participante. (claro está que si el participante está bloqueado o no realizó la dieta exacta indicada, generalmente, no tendrá ningún tipo de visiones).
Después de transcurridas las horas de transe, los participantes se sentirán algo cansados y simplemente, descansarán hasta el día siguiente.

Not citric fruits (lemon, grapefruit, orange, mandarin, pineapple, kiwi, maracuya, etc.)
Not to ingest pills neither chemical medications of any class
Not to smoke any type of tobacco
Not to ingest any type of alcohol
Not to consume any type of drugs
Not to have sexual relation ships
Abstain the women that are in menstrual, pregnant period or nurslings
People with heart problems

The day of the Ceremony:

Strict diet
In the morning, you will only be able to ingest papaya juice
And after the juice, you will only ingest water and nothing else, during the whole day, until the hour of the CEREMONY OF AYAHUASCA

After the day of the Ceremony

Not to consume alcoholic drinks, at least until a whole day after the ceremony
Rest to be able to recover energies lost in the previous night
For the food, you will be able to return to your normal diet.
