It is an adventure trip through the spectacular places of the walk, we will be amazed by the beauty of the whole area. We will have the occasion to know the Quechua native traditional people that lived at 14.000 feet of height and that assists to their flocks of flames and of German nickels in the isolated region of the Mountain Vilcanota, among the glaciers, colorful lakes. We will also have a good occasion to appreciate in the middle the flight to the Condors that is one of the biggest birds in of the world and the Andean fauna the Andean vicuña, practically extinct in other parts.
DAY 01: CUSCO - TINKI – UPIS
Early the next day we will leave the City of Cusco to the town of Tinki traveling the route of the south valley, arriving to the Town will go by several districts, we will appreciate several chapels and lagoons. after 3 hours of trip we will arrive at the Town of Tinki located at 3700 m.s.n.m.
after the lunch; We will begin the walk through a dry climate, with little vegetation (ecological puna) after approx. 3 hours of walk we will stop to eat lunch, and to appreciate part of the majestic mountain of Ausangate (6337 m.s.n.m) after the lunch we will continue walking for around 2 hours until arriving to our camp Upis (4200 m.s.n.m.)
DAY 02: UPIS – ASANGATE – COCHA
After the breakfast we will continue the walk ascending for approx. 4 hours until arriving to Arapa (4850 m.s.n.m) we stop then to descend until finding the appropriate place to eat lunch, we will walk for paths where we will see wild animals, in this area we will find 3 beautiful lagoons, the three of different colors, these are: Yanacocha, HatunPukacocha, and Qomerqocha. After the lunch we will continue for the route surrounded to the mountain, we will ascend until the second point the one that opens up of Apuchata (4900 m.s.n.m.) walking by 2 hours, after reaching the summit we will descend for approx. half hour until the camp Ausangatecocha (4440 m.s.n.m).
DAY 03: AUSANGATE - QOCHA- Q´AMPA
Este día iniciaremos la caminata mas temprano para ascendiendo por alrededor 2 horas hacia el tercer paso, el abra de Palomani (5200 m.s.n.m) este es el punto mas alto en toda la ruta, luego descenderemos otras 2 horas, viendo camélidos americanos como, llamas, alpacas, y animales silvestres como la Vizcacha, y también montañas y glaciales y llegaremos a Pampa cancha lugar donde almorzaremos (4050 m.s.n.m), después del almuerzo subiremos hasta nuestro campamento en Q´ampa (4300 m.s.n.m) tardando aprox. 3 horas.
DAY 04: Q´AMPA - PACCHANTA
After the breakfast we will walk for approx. 2 hours until arriving to the step of Q'ampa (5000 m.s.n.m.), then we will descend for approx. 5 hours to the lagoon of Qomercocha and then to arrive until Pacchanta (4100 m.s.n.m.), this it is a small community with attractive thermal waters, where we will enjoy the relax,
Dia 05: PACCHANTA – TINKI - CUSCO
In the morning we will leave Pacchanta and we will begin the return to Tinki we will walk approx. 2 hours, once in Tinki, we will take the transport that will drive us to Cusco, arriving to Cusco in the afternoon.
The Program Includes:
- Pick you up from the hotel and transport to the town of Tinki.
- Local Route guide in English and Spanish.
- Food: 04 breakfasts, 04 lunches, 04 dinners
- Cook with all the kitchen team
- Equipment: Quadruple carps for two people, carp (dining room), carp chefs, tables, seats
- Accommodation for the guide, chef and muleteers.
